Tessera Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 5, 2026

Tessera ("the app") is published by Case Sensitive Computers, LLC ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information Tessera and the third-party services used by the app handle.

Information stored on your device

Tessera does not require an account. Your game scores, streaks, settings, and in-progress games are stored locally on your device. Case Sensitive Computers does not operate a server that receives copies of this game data.

Advertising and related data

The free version of Tessera uses Google AdMob. Google's advertising SDK may collect and share information including:

Google may use this information for advertising, measurement, analytics, security, and fraud prevention. Data sent by Google's advertising SDK is encrypted in transit. For more information, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Privacy choices

Where required by law, Tessera uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent or present privacy choices. If a Privacy choices button appears in Tessera's Settings, you can use it to review or change those choices. Android also provides controls to reset or delete the advertising ID.

Purchases

Tessera offers an optional one-time Remove Ads purchase through Google Play. Google Play processes the payment. Case Sensitive Computers does not receive your full payment-card details. Tessera checks Google Play to determine whether the Remove Ads entitlement is owned.

Sharing

If you choose Share after a game, Tessera passes a text summary to Android's share sheet. Nothing is sent until you choose a destination app and complete the share.

Data retention and deletion

Local Tessera game data remains on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Because Tessera does not require an account or maintain its own user-data server, there is no separate Tessera account to delete. Data handled by Google is retained and deleted according to Google's applicable policies and your Google/Android privacy controls.

Children

Tessera is not directed to children under 13, and Case Sensitive Computers does not knowingly ask children under 13 to provide personal information directly to us.

Security

Tessera keeps its game state locally on your device. Network data handled by Google services is transmitted using encrypted connections. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy if Tessera's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this policy will be updated when we make changes.
